From the summer of 2017, the new management is working to make comfortable the historical hotel Asterix and to welcome you in a relaxing and peaceful environment.
We offer you a climate of absolute calm, without traffic issues, in a centraland well-served location.

BOLZANO AND SURROUNDINGS
You will stay in the characteristic neighbourhood named Gries, very near to the historical city centre and to the main attractions (we recommend you to click on these two links for every detailed information of Bolzano and its wonderful places (www.bolzano-bozen.it and www.suedtirol.info ) or the relaxing and beautiful walks like Guncina and Talvera, surrounded by the marvellous landscapes typical of South Tyrol.
You can easily reach the three cableway that connect the woods and sunny meadows of San Genesio (www.jenesien.net ), the Renon plateau www.renon.com and the Colle.
You will also find immediate connections to reach places of interest in areas outside the city by public transport.

TÖRGGELEN
From the last weekend of September until the beginning of December you can be swept away by the Alto Atesine delicacies in the so-called “Buschenschänke” or “Hofbänke”, farmers’ taverns, where the typical Törggelen is celebrated for villagers and also open to tourists. We taste the new wine of their production accompanied by the typical autumnal dishes, as well as to finish the roasted chestnuts.

MUSEUMS AND THEATRE
There are several museums to visit in the city of Bolzano or in the surrounding area (www.bolzano-bozen.it), including the most visited:

BOLZANO FAIR
Even if it shouldn’t be part of your plans, you could probably find an interesting reason to go to Bolzano fair, immediately connected through public transport to our Hotel. Very frequently the fairs like the historical “Tempo Libero” are visited and many others.

Reception schedule
The open schedule of our reception is from 08:00 to 23:00 with a lunch break from 13:00 to 15:00.
Check in and Check out schedule
You can do the check-in from 16:00 to 23:00 and the check-out until 10:00. We ask you to contact the Hotel if you want to do the check-in after 23:00.
